Eco-Conscious Living

We strive to be as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible.

We believe we are living in times where being green is not just important but essential.

Our products, setups for wedding fairs and everything in between have been thought through to make them as eco-conscious and sustainable as we can make them.

Of course it’s easier said than done!

Here are some things that we’ve thought over so far.

Your Wedding Photo Presentation Piece

Your wedding photos will be delivered in a presentation package to you. This is personalised to you so every one we make is unique and individual. No two are the same! In the process of getting to know you as a couple and considering the theme of your wedding day we will tailor the final presentation package to suit you.
This way we’re not buying new mass produced products and our photo prints we produce are vegan.

Natasha and Aymeric had some of their favourite books stacked up as centre pieces for the tables at their wedding so their wedding photo presentation piece was a book…

We have a lot of countryside themed weddings so we’ve created seed tins full of photos and flower seeds or picnic hampers full of dried flowers and some goodies.

What could be more perfect for our Plymouth based gin loving couple (with the groom in the Navy as well) so we created a “message in a bottle” with a Plymouth Gin bottle for their presentation piece. Don’t worry they got some of the gin as well!

We’ve photographed a wedding inspired by Downton Abbey and Bridgerton so we found a beautiful luxurious wooden box with gold detailing on it and created a Lady Whistledown leaflet inside detailing their most awaited wedding of the season!

USB Memory Sticks

But what about the USB’s?! I hear you ask…

Memory Sticks

The USB’s are made from wood from seasoned tree branches. This means they are not made from new wood or trees planted for commercial wood use. As you can see they are full of character as the wood has different natural markings on it.

Business Cards

Our business cards are 100% cotton which is made from recycled T-shirts!

Wedding Fairs

Our stall for wedding fairs are also made by Raj himself as he makes rustic furniture from reclaimed palettes and scaffolding boards.
You can see some examples of his bespoke furniture here.

The Little Things

Those little things we do at home to be eco-conscious…

  • Thought through food shopping- limit plastic packaging, organic, fair trade etc
We have a fab re-fill shop local to us where we get pasta, oil, local bread and all sorts (the vegan choc cinder toffee is Jade’s fave purchase)!

  • Grow veg/ buy it from our village stall.

  • Make our own furniture or buy second hand.

  • Buy second-hand clothing.

  • Use a green energy supplier.

  • Recycle
(eye roll- everyone does it, do we even need to list that!?)

  • Oh, and Jade never let’s Raj put the heating on haha!

  • We’re also veggie’s- Raj makes a great Dahl and Smoked Aubergine Curry!
